For this year’s National Poetry Month, the Red and Blue is inviting students to submit their original poetry for a chance to be featured in our April issue. Before entering your poetry, please make sure that your submission follows all guidelines. To submit your poetry, turn in a printed copy to room 126 or email any Red and Blue staff member, including newspaper advisor Mrs. Marvin.
Poetry Submission Guidelines
All submissions must be original works. Any form of plagiarism is unacceptable.
All submissions must be written by Kokomo High School students. This includes foreign exchange students, virtual students, and anyone attending the Twilight program.
Poems must not be explicit in terms of language or subject matter. Any poems with profanity or other graphic material will not be considered for publication.
Poems must be submitted on paper or electronically by 11:59 PM on Wednesday, April 14th in order to be considered for the feature.
All selected submissions will be published with the student’s name and grade unless otherwise requested.
