The softball season is in full swing at KHS and the team has been practicing hard and preparing.

“We’ve had a good off-season with players attending workouts and improving their individual skill. Since our season has started, practices have been productive and we are going to continue to work hard and improve as the season progresses,” said head coach Mike Susong.

This year, the team set goals to improve throughout the season and to win titles.

”Our goals are to continue to improve as the season progresses and to win the NCC and sectional titles.” Susong said. “We will need to make sure we stick together as a team, play solid defense  and let our bats work.”

The LadyKats take on the Logansport Berries at home on Wednesday before competing in the NCC tournament this weekend.
