Even though KHS students have not even started second semester, the KHS counselors are already getting ready to help students select their classes for the 2025-2026 school year.
“All students will have individual scheduling meetings with the counselors in January,” said Brittany Troyer, Coordinator of College and Career Preparation.
Every student is encouraged to review their graduation progress to make sure that they are getting the required classes and credits each semester to stay on track.
The counseling office offers a unique opportunity for students to experience classes they might be interested in taking.
“If students are interested in learning more about a class by shadowing, that is always an option! They just need to talk with their counselor,” Troyer said.
Students who are interested in taking the Kokomo CEO class should visit kokomoceo.com to apply. Applications are due Jan. 17 for next year.
Other forms and applications students might need are available on the on the scheduling website (https://sites.google.com/kokomo.k12.in.us/khsscheduling/home/scheduling-forms). Most forms are not due until closer to the end of the school year.
