On Monday, March 17, KHS hosted the annual International Festival. Freshmen IB students and international students created displays and activities to represent different countries. Many of KHS’s international students had the opportunity to teach visitors about their home countries.
“I liked introducing them to Japanese culture, scenery and good food,” said international student Ema Kawase. “I wanted them to see the kimono because many had never seen one.”
KHS students visited the festival during 2nd period, while local elementary and middle school students visited the rest of the day.
