This year’s Spring Formal, hosted by Student Council, brought elements of Paris to the KHS foyer. The dance, Meet Me at Midnight, was open to all KHS students.
Students danced to the music provided by DJ Pugh all night. Seniors Nancy Laughner and Devon Lee were crowed formal queen and king by Student Council officers Eliza Arvay and Alaina Thompson.
“Hearing my name announced as formal queen was so rewarding,” Laughner said. “I felt very honored to be supported by so many of my classmates.”
Enjoying the dance with their friends was the highlight of the night for both the formal king and queen.
“Whether it was pictures, dancing, or eating afterwards, it wouldn’t have been half as enjoyable without them,” Lee said.
Laughner agreed. Being with her friends was the most memorable part of the night.
“My favorite part about formal this year had to be dressing up and getting cute pictures with my friends,” she said. “And to top it all off we all killed it on the dance floor!”
