As the school year starts to wind down, there are many important reminders for the class of 2025. Seniors should make sure they are aware of all the important upcoming deadlines to finish their high school careers on the right note. And remember, finish strong, be smart and be safe. These days count, so don’t do anything that will keep you from walking at graduation.
Graduation and Grades
- Must have graduation requirements complete or only missing one required credit to walk
- Includes virtual courses that you may need
Decision Day
- May 1st is national decision day
- Let the college know you plan to attend or tell them you will not attend
- Update decision on SCOIR – this is very important
Senior Signing Day
- May 2nd during both lunches
- Celebrate your next steps
- Wear your college, military, trade school or employment shirts
3 in 1 Breakfast
- May 7th at 6am in the cafeteria
- Invitations will be sent by the Athletic Department
- Recognize athletes for accomplishments
Caps & Gowns
- Pick up is May 8th at 12:30pm in the auditorium during the final senior meeting
- Must have cap and gown to walk at graduation
- See Connie Clark in the counselors’ office with questions
Senior Recognition Evening
- May 16th
- For all seniors who have received special awards or scholarships
- Very important that students being recognized attend to meet the scholarship donors
- Students arrive at 5:30pm
- Rehearsal will be Wednesday, May 14th from 12-1:30pm
Finals
- KACC finals are May 19 & 20
- KHS finals are May 21 & 22
KatWalk and Senior Field Day
- May 23rd
- Visit elementary and middle schools
- Wear caps and gowns
- Food, ice cream truck and games on the football field
Senior Send-off Week
- Starts May 27th
- Commencement rehearsal is May 29th at 12pm – attendance is required to walk at graduation
Graduation & Final Fling
- Graduation is May 30th at 7:30pm – arrive by 6:30pm to line up
- Final Fling is May 30th from 10pm-2am
