With all the uncertainties facing sports this year, the boy’s tennis team made the most of it. With three of the starters not returning, the rest of the team and new players “step(ed) up and are doing a great job,”  according to head coach Shawn Flanary.

The tennis team pulled in many wins throughout the season all while doing their best to stay safe and healthy during the pandemic. The team progressed and made it to the sectional finals and beat Northwestern, however, they fell to West Lafayette in the first round of the regional.

“Our boys have done great,” Flanary said. Even though the season is over the boys did a great job staying safe and making KHS proud.

Learn life through sport” is Flanary’s philosophy and what better way to learn life than stay brave in the face of challenges.
