Howard County gets ready for Halloween

It’s Halloween weekend! Here are a few activities happening around town to help you celebrate Spooky Season!

Trick-or-Read 

Trick-or-Read Halloween Story Walk will occur at the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library Main Branch in Kokomo. Go to www.khcpl.org for more information.

 

Kendall Family Farm Adventures 

Kendall Family Farm Adventures is open Friday 5-9pm, Saturday 11am-9pm and Sunday 12-6pm. Activities include pedal karts, a five-acre corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin picking, and more. They are also hosting a Halloween movie night on October 31st at 7:30pm. They are open through November 1st. Kendall Family Farm Adventures is located at 9717 East 600 North. Pumpkin Painting

The Kokomo-Howard County Public Library south branch in Kokomo is hosting a pumpkin painting. It will be outside the library from 10-11am. It is first come first serve until supplies are gone. Visit www.khcpl.org.

 

Trunk-or-Treat 

Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union is hosting a Drive-thru Trunk or Treat on October 31st. The free event includes a decorated haunted backyard and a no-touch method of receiving treats for Halloween. The event will take place from 1-4pm at 201 Southway Blvd.

 

15th Annual Haunted Woods Trail 

October 30-31 there are haunted woods 4 miles north of Rochester, Indiana. There is a partially guided tour along with terrors left and right. Tours continue through rain or darkness, starting at 7:30pm. Adults ages 12 and up are $8. Children ages 6-11 are $3. Kids 5 and under are free.
