As we begin to wrap up the year, the Class of 2022 has their eyes set on one thing: graduation. This year’s graduation ceremony will take place Friday, June 3 at 7:30 pm, but graduates should arrive by 6pm to line up. Graduation will take place at Memorial Gym in downtown Kokomo. Seats for the graduation ceremony are available on a first come first served basis. 

“Make sure to dress for the heat, as Memorial Gym does not have air conditioning,” said KHS administrative assistant Anna Landseadel. 

Prior to graduation, seniors are expected to participate in a rehearsal on Thursday, June 2. Rehearsal will begin at noon. Beginning at 9:30am Spectrum Photography will be at Memorial Gym to take pictures of seniors in their graduation attire. The pictures will continue until graduation rehearsal begins.

Once the commencement ceremony is over and seniors have turned in their gowns, they can head over to The Zone to celebrate. Final Fling is from 10pm to 2am. Tickets can be purchased for $5 at both lunches on Friday afternoons. Seniors must have their ID to purchase tickets and to enter the event. There will be prize giveaways, DJ Pugh, laser tag, food and lots more excitement.
