The Wildkat boys' basketball team won their state record 76th sectional title

Memorial Gym was electric Saturday night as the Kats took on conference foe Marion. Kokomo came out fighting from the first tip, eventually topping the Giants 85-51. The championship game was called early due to a medical emergency in the stands.
The night before, the Kats battled the Harrison Raiders, winning in overtime to advance to Saturday night’s title game.
The 21-4 Wildkats will take on 16-9 Fort Wayne Northside for the regional championship. Game time is 7 p.m. at Logansport High School’s Berry Bowl. All tickets are electronic and can be purchased using the link public.eventlink.com/tickets?t=30039
