It was a chily Friday morning, but the energy at KHS’s Walter Cross Field was hot! The Kats’ band, dance team, cheerleaders, student section and football team joined WTHR’s Dominic Miranda for Operation Football. KHS is vying for the Operation Football Spirit Award.
Following the local coverage, Miranda interviewed head football coach Austin Colby as part of the Today Show’s “Friday Morning Lights” segment, airing for a national television audience.
