With limited fans in the stands and new regulations regarding their season, the KHS volleyball team powered through their season.

“Your team is family and they are there for you through anything,” said Jalynn Warden, a junior on the team.

With the pressure on the girls to stay safe while playing hard, they played in the North Central Conference Tournament and went 2-2 on the day.

“Mistakes will happen. That is part of volleyball. It is what you learn and how you respond to those mistakes that is important,” said volleyball coach Rebecca Brandes.

With the girls hard work and dedication, KHS should hold its breath and wait for the results of their sectional game tomorrow.

“…Work hard and play smart,” is one of the things Brandes teaches the girls, and how better to show this in action then staying safe while having fun.
