Freshman Chad Washburn competed at the IHSAA state wrestling finals on Friday, Feb. 19. Washburn fell in the first round to the eventual state runner-up.

On the road to the state finals, Washburn was the regional champion at 195lbs. He placed 4th at the semi-state, securing his spot at the state finals at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse.
