Senior Avery Link has been a member of the Kokomo Dance Team for since she was in sixth grade. In that time, Link has enjoyed the hip-hop routines the team has performed the most. She has had the privilege of competing at dance competitions all over the state and at nationals. 

“While on KDT, my favorite routine to perform was the routine we took to nationals,” Link said.

Even though Link doesn’t think she’ll continue dancing after high school, she has made plenty of memories during her time as a KDT dancer.

“My favorite memory while being on KDT was when we found out we were regional champions,” she said.

In addition to the dance team, Link is a member of Student Council, Girls; League and the Kokomo Leadership Academy. After high school, Link hopes to study physical therapy.

“My dream job is to be a physical therapist in an athletic-based setting,” Link said.
